How training is structured

Finding the right team

Players develop at different rates, so age is only part of how our sessions are structured. We also consider their football development and experience to help find the group where they will get the most from their coaching.

Players can move between groups as they develop. When we think another session would be a better fit, we will always talk it through with parents or carers first. This closely reflects GT7’s current approach to Lions, Tigers and Wolves.

Our Credentials

Kendal and the South Lakes

GT7 runs football coaching for boys and girls aged 4 to 16 at Kendal Rugby Club and Dallam School, serving families across Kendal and the wider South Lakes.

Every coach is DBS checked and GT7 is an England Football accredited academy. Sessions run weekly during term time.

We consider age, experience and football development. Groups are reviewed as players develop and, where a move would be beneficial, GT7 will discuss this with parents or carers.

Yes. Some GT7 groups are deliberately transitional. Moving group is about finding the right football environment for the player at that point in their development.
